Why does Healthland need Jomnin's support?
Vissot Co Ltd is a small Cambodian owned food manufacturing business started by Cambodian students which has been successfully producing products and supplying Cambodian supermarkets since 1998.
Despite the industry's potential, Healthland, being a small organisation, lacks the capital and expertise required to expand the business. Because Vissot is a commercial enterprise, it does not attract aid support and is not eligible for tax-deductibiliy. It is also difficult to attract investment in Cambodia to grow the industry. Jomnin is helping to attract the support, investment and expertise that Vissot needs for growth.

Investment profits
Jomnin has just started importing one of Vissot's products to sell in Australia. Profits generated from imports will be injected back into Healthland's community programs.
Health Centre:
Healthland has done some small health promotions but would like to expand its health work. Healthland is planning to start a health centre to promote healthy lifestyle and provide health care to people in the community. Profits from the industry will be used to help run the health centre and Jomnin will help Healthland find expert support to develop the centre.
Student support and training:
Vissot began as a class project to help support students and give them on-the-job training and experience in business, marketing, office management, food manufacturing and professional development. Many young people have benefited from this experience. Jomnin is helping Healthland develop a more structured student support and training program using the food industry and health and medical centre as a base for training.
